Bergen Catholic is an all-boys college preparatory high school located in the heart of Bergen County less than 30 minutes from New York City and Rockland County, New York. Bergen Catholic has become renowned for excellence as exemplified by our alumni who include business executives of top corporations and professional sports organizations, national and local politicians, coaches for professional and college sports teams, media personalities and sportscasters, and professional athletes playing in the NHL, NFL, MLB and NBA amongst other professional sports leagues. Our mission is to provide academic, athletic and extracurricular programs that reinforce the importance of commitment, accountability, respect, leadership, integrity and pride in young men to prepare them for the next chapter in their lives which includes enrollment into top universities and colleges in the United States and internationally.

Bergen Catholic’s hockey program first hit the ice over 50 years ago and participates in the highly competitive Gordon Conference which includes other college preparatory high schools in New Jersey. Over the years our Varsity squad has captured numerous State, County and League titles with many of our players continuing their hockey careers in the NCAA, ACHA, Junior leagues and NHL. Our hockey program follows a “junior” model which features up to five or more ice events per week, games against top schools throughout the Northeast, tournaments, a team locker room, and training opportunities during the year.
